Growing and Maintenance Tips
Before July, pinch plants to maintain a cushion effect. Excellent for cutting. Most asters will be troubled much less with powdery mildew when grown in a moist, rich soil. Thin out young plants to maintain good air circulation to deter rot. To maintain vigour, divide plants every two to four years. Do NOT divide in the fall.
